Implementation & Setup Checklist
Follow these steps to ensure your hardware is ready for the Taak GPS dashboard
Connectivity Verification
Ensure your SIM card is active, M2M-enabled, and the PIN lock is removed.
APN Configuration
Configure the device with the correct Access Point Name (APN) provided by your cellular carrier.
Server Pointing
Update the device's destination IP or DNS to the official Taak GPS Server Address provided in your onboarding kit.
Port Assignment
Assign the device to the specific Taak GPS communication port corresponding to its protocol.
Registration
Enter the device IMEI or Unique Identifier into the Taak GPS web portal to begin receiving data.
